Believe it or not, plans are underway for our annual mission trip. This year we will again be going to Mountain TOP. Mountain TOP is an interdenominational Christian Mission, affiliated with the Tennessee Conference of the United Methodist Church. Its ministry is dedicated to improving the quality of life for the rural people living in the Cumberland Mountains of Tennessee. The 2027 trip is scheduled for June 19 through June 26, 2027.
An interest meeting for anyone interested in attending next year’s trip (even if you’ve already been to Mountain T.O.P.) is scheduled for September 20 at 7:00 p.m. in Pierson Hall. At the meeting, any changes to next year’s trip will be discussed. Therefore, we require that at least one parent attend with each student in grades 6–12 who is interested in going on the trip. However, attendance at this meeting does not guarantee participation on the trip; this is only an information gathering time.
