In light of the recent tragic loss of life of people of color to police violence, Bishop Tracy Malone and the Extended Cabinet of the East Ohio Conference released this statement condemning the violence and setting forth our commitment to furthering the cause of racial justice in this country and throughout the world. In response, over 700 clergy and lay members of the conference signed this statement affirming the plans and sentiments put forth by the bishop and acknowledging our responsibility to enact change.
