Modern culture encourages us to ignore death and run from death, yet this results in all sorts of foolishness in life. Christ faces death squarely and opens the way through death so that real life – eternal life – can begin for us now.

Dr. David A. Palmer has been the senior pastor at the United Methodist Church of Kent since 1995. He has a B.A. from Wittenberg University, a Master of Divinity from Duke University, and a Doctor of Ministry from Princeton Theological Seminary.
