Crisis Counsels from the Scriptures #44

This week in Crisis Counsels we are drawing insights from one of the “wisdom books” of the Bible, the book of Proverbs. Yesterday we looked at chapter 3, verse 5, which says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight.” The next verse says:

In all your ways acknowledge God, and he will make straight your paths.

Proverbs 3:6

This beautiful passage directs us to look to God in all times, with the assurance that as we do so, “God will make straight our paths.” The paths of our lives are often crooked; indeed people feel sometimes that they are going around in circles! But we find the right path and the good path into our future as we place our faith in God.
