Dress comfortably. Some people dress up, some wear jeans, and in summertime some wear shorts and sandals! But most wear dressy casual and comfortable clothes on Sunday mornings. Don't worry about what you wear ...God loves us all.
Can I Bring My Beverage Into Worship?
We believe that in worship we are not spectators but are actively joining in the praise of God. So we encourage people to finish their beverage if possible before worship. We have a Holy Donut Shop in the church kitchen that serves coffee and donuts on Sundays from 9:00 to 10:15 (except during the summer).
When Should I Arrive?
Worship Services begin at 8:30 in the Chapel, 9:30 in the gym, and 10:30 in the Sanctuary. You'll probably want to arrive about 15 minutes early the first time you visit and locate our visitor information in the atrium, as well as locate the Sunday School rooms.
Where Do I Go Once I Arrive?
If you are attending the 10:30 Worship Service, once you arrive, you will want to enter the building using any of the doors closest to the Sanctuary. You will find doors in the front, on the west end (under the portico), and in the rear which will bring you into the atrium. From there you will go right to the Sanctuary doors. If you are attending the 9:30 Contemporary Service, you will want to park in the rear of the building and enter through Pierson Hall and proceed across the hallway to the gym. You can also enter the atrium doors, turn to your left, proceed down the stairs and then turn right into the gym. If you will be attending our 8:30 worship service in the chapel, you will want to park on the west side of the facility nearest the round chapel.
What About My Children?
We offer a nursery for infants, and childcare for all ages for both the 9:30 Contemporary Service and the 10:30 service. The nursery and toddlers rooms are located in the Education wing on the lower level. Sunday school for children ages K - 6 is held in the Education wing immediately following the children's moment at the 10:30 service.
