As United Methodists, we believe that faith needs to express itself through action. Our church is involved in a broad range of mission activities, as we seek to express the good news and love of Jesus Christ both locally and worldwide. It is your generous giving that makes this possible.
In addition to multiple ministry areas within our church family, we reach out to our local community by supporting a broad range of agencies and projects, including: the Marie Miller House, Freedom House, Haven of Rest, Portage Area Senior Services, Kevin Coleman Center, Chaplaincy at Robinson Memorial Hospital, Ohio Campus Ministries, Portage County Habitat for Humanity, Hartville Migrant ministry, Kent Social Services, Townhall II, County Clothing Center, Hattie Larlham, and Heart 4 the City (mission church in Goodyear Heights). We also engage in an extensive global outreach by supporting the global ministries of the United Methodist Church, which address critical needs worldwide. We remember the words of Jesus: “As you have done for the least of my brothers and sisters, you have done also for me.” (Matthew 25:40)
